Itinerary

Day 1

Our driver will pick you up early in the morning and transfer you to the most photographed spot of Nafplio and its point of reference as well is Bourtzi, the Venetian small fortress standing on the rocky islet of Agioi Theodoroi. Next stop: the Palamidi Castle, which proudly stands 216 m above sea level. In order to reach it you have to climb all of its 999 steps carved into the rock. Not to worry, though: the view from above here is totally rewarding! Venture into a place drenched in history, where the famous hero of the Greek Revolution Theodore Kolokotronis had been imprisoned; Akronafplia is the historic rock at the foot of Palamidi hill, also known by its Turkish name Its Kale(meaning inner castle). Inhabited since prehistoric times, the peninsula consists of three levels, among which stand three independent castles, the oldest being the western one. It was there that the ancient acropolis was situated, fortified with polygonic Cyclopean walls. at sunset take a romantic stroll around the so-called Arvanitia Promenade, the most popular walk in town (1 km in length) dominated by the rocky landscape of Akronafplia/ use the tourist trains to enjoy a leisurely tour around the town.

Day 2

After breakfast, you may be able to do some more shopping and exploring. After you have checked out of the hotel our driver will transfer you again back to Athens.

Fabulous trip and attention to detail!

Anthony Alagiah with Antelope Travel planned the perfect family trip for us in June 2023. Anthony was a pleasure to work with, he communicated in detail and was very responsive to any questions I had and even stayed in touch while we were in Greece.
This was our first visit to Greece and he patiently guided me during the planning process and planned perfect itineraries for Athens, the islands and the mainland so we could experience a variety of different parts of Greece. Keeping three teenage boys engaged and interested isn't always easy but all of Anthony's tours, tour guides and activities worked perfectly for all of us!
We had many air, land and sea transfers and Anthony's planning and his partners ensured that everything went smoothly for us.
We were referred to Anthony from friends and I highly recommend him! I have now referred other friends to him, as thanks to his expertise, we had a fantastic family trip to Greece.
Athens, Santorini, Naxos, Meteori, Delphi, Athens

Loved my experience with Antelope!

Anthony at Antelope Travel planned an AMAZING trip for my family. We spent two days in Athens and explored the historical sites there. Our tour guide for the Parthenon, Natassa, was awesome. She was so knowledgable about ancient Greece and we loved having her guide us through the ruins and the museum.
Next we went to Mykonos and had another amazing guide there named Jenny. She was funny and told us about the culture and history of the island. The hotel we stayed at was awesome and my two daughters loved the pool there. We took a yacht to a private island then toured Delos and really had a lot of family fun there. We also loved shopping in Chora and found that the island was easy to get around on the bus.
Our next stop was the breath taking island of Santorini where we stayed in a pituresque villa with our own swimming pool. The final day we took a catamaran cruise around the island, swam, snorkled and ended the trip with an amazing sunset.
Anthony thought of everything and planned our trip so well. I would recommend Antelope Travel to anyone wanting to explore the beauty that Greece has to offer.
