Greece Honeymoon Vacation Package: Athens-Mykonos-Santorini-Rhodes

This fourteen day honeymoon package is a blend of cosmopolitan islands, relaxing beachs and bustling cities. It has the perfect mix of fun and romance - a wonderful way to start your life together.

Day 1 (ATHENS ARRIVAL TRANSFER)
On your arrival in Athens, you will start your honeymoon in stress free comfort as your English speaking driver collects you and transfers you to your choice of central Athens hotel. You have the afternoon and evening to do as you please, whether you choose to stay in your hotel and relax or wander the streets of the Plaka, in the shadow of the Acropolis, taking a meal in a traditional restaurant. This is the perfect time to discover the amazing and ancient vibe of Athens.

Day 2 (ATHENS TOUR, PASSAGE TO MYKONOS)
Your second day in Athens starts with an early breakfast, after which you will be picked up for your half day Athens City tour. The air conditioned coach will take you to the major sites of Athens including the Acropolis, Syntagma Square and the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After the tour you will be transferred by air conditioned Mercedes to the airport to take your flight, or to Piraeus Port, to alight the ferry to Mykonos. On your arrival in Mykonos, our representative will transfer you to the hotel of your choice where you will spend the next three nights. Spend the evening relaxing on this beautiful island, sitting by the pool, immersing yourself in the cosmopolitan Mykonian atmosphere.

Day 3 (MYKONOS)
This is your first real day of relaxation, away from the hustle of Athens. Mykonos is an amazing mix of beaches, bars and people. It is easily the most sophisticated of the Greek Islands, with its Venetian town maze like on the port, its narrow maze like streets with white washed houses. Spending the time at your hotel is always an option, but the evening is the time to go into the town and have dinner at any one of the international restaurants, watching the rich, famous and infamous pass you by. The clubs and bars of Mykonos are internationally reknown. Mykonos knows how to show people a good time.

Day 4 (MYKONOS)
Starting your day with breakfast by the pool is a wonderful way to start your honeymoon days. Day four of your honeymoon could start this way. Maybe today is the day you head to the beach. The golden sandy beaches of Mykonos are a revelation. As Mykonos is small the beaches can be reached by taxi or bus. Or maybe today is the day that you visit the exclusive boutiques and specialty shops which line the narrow streets. Mykonos is home to some of the best gold shops in the world. The evening is yours to explore in any way you wish.

Day 5 (DELOS, MYKONOS *OPTIONAL*)
Mykonos is more than beaches, nightlife and shopping. No trip to Mykonos is complete without a trip to the mystical island of Delos, which is a short boat ride away from the island. Roam the ruins of a city that was inhabited one thousand years ago, taking inspiration from a civilisation that had every modern convenience the times offered, including running water. The amazing ruins inspire romance, as the island is the perfect place to have some quiet time to yourselves, away from the crowds of Mykonos Town. As Delos is only able to be visiting until 3 pm, spend the rest of the day relaxing by your hotel pool or getting lost in the maze like streets.

Day 6 (PASSAGE TO SANTORINI)
After breakfast you will check out of your hotel and bid farewell to Mykonos. You will be transferred to the port of Mykonos where you will embark the ferry or hydrofoil and travel to Santorini. Arriving by sea is the best way to arrive in Santorini as you as the full impact of the cliffs and caldera are best seen from the deck of a boat. You will take in the beauty of the ancient volcano as the boat docks at the port. Our representative will transfer you to the hotel of your choice on your arrival. You will be spending the next three nights on this magical island. The evening is yours to begin to take in the islands majesty. We suggest you dine on a cliff side restaurant and take in the view of the volcano.

Day 7 (SANTORINI)
Breakfast by the pool is the only way to start your day, taking in the stunning view. There are no planned activities for you in Santorini, so your time is your own to fill as you wish. Lying by the pool watching the view could be all the activity you wish to do, or maybe you can wander the streets of Fira, exploring the narrow lanes and eclectic shops. The island is small enough travel to the south of the island by bus or taxi and visits the famous black sand beaches. A trip to watch the sunset at Oia in the island's north is one of the most romantic activities you can do in your life - this is not to be missed.

Day 8 (SANTORINI)
Your last full day in Santorini has no firm plans, but breakfast by the pool should be part of your morning ritual. Why not make today extra special with a trip by boat out to Nea Kameni, the volcano in the centre of the caldera. The boat which takes you out there also visits the hot springs at the back of the volcano, where you can swim in the healing waters. It also visits Thirassia, the island at the other side of the caldera for some lunch and more exploring. Make your last evening special, dancing on the cliff side as the sun goes down over the Aegean. These are moments that will make your honeymoon unforgettable.

Day 9 (FLIGHT TO RHODES)
You will bid farewell to Santorini after breakfast, when you will take one last longing look at the Caldera before checking out of your hotel. Your transfer will take you to the airport for your hour flight to the island of Rhodes. On arrival at Rhodes you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel where you will be spending the next four nights. As Rhodes is a large island we highly recommend renting a car to see the best that the island has to offer. Please enquire about this when you are make your booking. Rhodes has much to offer honeymooning couples. Its beauty lies in its diversity, history and natural charm. One of the largest if all of the Greek Islands, you could spend weeks exploring the island, yet you are just as free to enjoy each other's company in the privacy of your hotel.

Day 10 (RHODES)
Rhodes Town is a must for all to explore as the various elements of the town make it far more eclectic that the other islands you've visited. The old town with its twelve metre thick walls, the Turkish influence of the labyrinthine streets which wind around the hills of the town and a wonder of shops and experience are there to be enjoyed, there for you to explore. The Palace of the Grand Masters has one of the best museums in Greece. Of course, you are also free to stay at your hotel or resort and relax with a drink, venturing out in the evening for a meal at a local taverna.

Day 11 (RHODES)
Taking up the option of the hire car in Rhodes means that more of the island is available to you. The East of Rhodes has some wonderful beaches around the coast away from the resorts and town. The centre of the island is lush and green with some wonderful small villages to visit and enjoy, while the ruggedness of the West Coast of the island is nothing like the rest of the Greek islands. The cuisine on Rhodes is different to the rest of Greece as well as there is a distinct Turkish influence on the island's culture. Rhodes is also one of the few places in Greece that you can find a traditional Turkish massage. It is your honeymoon to enjoy it in your own way.

Day 12 (RHODES)
This is you last full day on Rhodes and it is the perfect opportunity to do some last minute shopping, as Rhodes has some of the best shopping in Greece. It is known for its silver, leather goods and ceramics. Or maybe you want to try something more cultural - travel up to the traditional town of Lindos, where the easiest way to get around is by donkey. Or there is the valley of the butterflies, where you can walk in peace amongst thousands of these brightly winged creatures. You are here to make your honeymoon memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 13 (FLIGHT TO ATHENS)
After breakfast you will check out of your hotel and you will be transferred to the airport for the short flight back to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice for your final evening in Greece. Make your last evening special, dining in any one of the internationally recognised restaurants in the centre of town. Or maybe wander the streets of the Plaka, taking one last look at the magical Acropolis.

Day 14 (DEPARTURE TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT-FLIGHT BACK HOME)
Check out after breakfast and be transferred back to the airport for your flight home, taking memories of your magical honeymoon.
