Delphi After the Acropolis, is the most popular archaeological site in Greece. With its exquisite setting on a mountain terrace dwarfed by the ominous crags of Mt. Parnassus, Delphi was one of the most important sanctuaries of ancient Greece and held to be the center of the earth. Walk along the Sacred Way to the Temple of Apollo, see the treasuries, the place of offerings, the Grand Temple of Apollo and the theater with its splendid acoustics. Then visit the Delphi Museum, which houses many of the treasures recovered from the site, including Omphalos, which marked the center of the world, and the famous Charioteer, one of the finest pieces surviving from the 5th century B.C. You will enjoy a taste of authentic Greek cuisine at a local restaurant in the exquisite setting of Delphi. Anthony worked very closely with us to design a custom tour that was best suited to our particular needs and wants for our trip. His knowledge and expertise helped steer us to the best sites and experiences which was invaluable to exceeding our highest expectations. The selection of first class hotels, the pick up arrangements which were performed like clockwork, the knowledgeble and courteous guides all contributed to our total enjoyment.
Further we were kept informed by the guides of any advance arrangements all during the trip which as a retired business executive who values good communication greatly added to our pleasure and relaxation.
With respect to hotels, which were all great, the hotel in Santorini high up on the hillside with spectacular views of the harbor and sites was so breathtaking we were all blown away by it's unique character and beauty.
We would heartily recommend Antelope Travel, and in particular Anthony Alagiah, especially for their travels to Greece and also Turkey. It was a trip of a lifetime.

Fabulous trip and attention to detail!

Anthony Alagiah with Antelope Travel planned the perfect family trip for us in June 2023. Anthony was a pleasure to work with, he communicated in detail and was very responsive to any questions I had and even stayed in touch while we were in Greece.
This was our first visit to Greece and he patiently guided me during the planning process and planned perfect itineraries for Athens, the islands and the mainland so we could experience a variety of different parts of Greece. Keeping three teenage boys engaged and interested isn't always easy but all of Anthony's tours, tour guides and activities worked perfectly for all of us!
We had many air, land and sea transfers and Anthony's planning and his partners ensured that everything went smoothly for us.
We were referred to Anthony from friends and I highly recommend him! I have now referred other friends to him, as thanks to his expertise, we had a fantastic family trip to Greece.
