Itinerary

Day 1 Athens – Corinth Canal – Epidaurus – Nauplia – Mycenae – Olympia

Depart from Athens, traveling west along the scenic coastline to the Corinth Canal. Enjoy a short stop to admire this engineering marvel that connects the western Mediterranean to the eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea.

Continue along the Saronic Gulf to visit Epidaurus, famous for its ancient theater. Known for its exceptional acoustics, the theater allowed all 12,000 spectators to hear unamplified speech from the stage.

Proceed to Nauplia, the first capital of Greece in 1829, for a brief stop before heading to Mycenae. Explore this legendary site, known as the kingdom of Agamemnon and a cornerstone of the Mycenaean civilization, celebrated as one of the greatest in Greek prehistory.

In the afternoon, journey to Olympia for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Olympia – Rion-Antirion Bridge – Nafpaktos – Delphi

Start the day at Olympia, the most renowned sanctuary of ancient Greece, dedicated to Zeus. This lush site, nestled at the foot of Mount Kronios, is the birthplace of the Olympic Games, celebrated every four years in honor of Zeus. Visit the archaeological site and museum to explore its rich heritage.

Travel via Patras to the impressive Rion-Antirion Bridge, one of Europe’s most modern suspension bridges. Pass through the coastal town of Nafpaktos before arriving in Delphi. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Delphi – Athens

Apollo and the Pythian Games, second only to the Olympics.

Visit the archaeological site and museum, where highlights include the bronze Charioteer of Delphi, a masterpiece of ancient Greek art.

After leisure time in Delphi, return to Athens, concluding your journey through Greece's ancient treasures.
