This majestic 19th-century church was built to house the revered icon of the “Megalochari” (Great Grace), believed to be miraculous. The grandeur of the white marble façade and the spiritual atmosphere make this a truly unforgettable stop.
Exploring Tinos’ Unique Architecture & Venetian Influence
Tinos was under Venetian rule for nearly 500 years, leaving behind an impressive legacy of elegant pigeon houses and Catholic villages. These beautifully designed dovecotes, once used for breeding pigeons, are scattered across the valleys, adding a touch of history to the island’s already stunning scenery.

Back in Tinos Town, enjoy leisure time to shop for local souvenirs, explore charming alleyways, or relax at a café along the scenic harbor before boarding the ferry back to Mykonos.
