Day four begins with breakfast in your hotel, after which you will be collected from your hotel and join an organized tour to Argolis. Heading to the Peloponnese to the West of Athens, this tour, with your English speaking guide on an air-conditioned tour bus will explore a mix of historical, engineering and mystical sites. The first stop is the Corinth Canal, a modern day wonder which connects the East of Greece to the West. Where once boats were dragged across the spit of land, it now allows ships to pass through. After the canal, travel to Mycenae, home to some of the oldest ruins in Modern Europe, where the ancient city lies in ruins, but the Lions Gates, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace are still evident. The tour then travels through Argos to the beautiful city of Napflio where lunch is provided in a local restaurant. After lunch, return to Athens through Epidaurus, home to an ancient amphitheatre with incredible accoustics. On your return to Athens, enjoy your last evening in this magical city as you please.
