Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival and Nile Dinner Cruise

When you arrive at Cairo Airport, your luxurious holiday starts. You will be met by our representative who will transfer you in air conditioned comfort to your hotel. For the next three nights you will be staying at beautiful 5* Hotel in the shadow of the Pyramids. Set in forty acres of jasmine scented gardens, this hotel has played host to the rich and famous since 1869. Thoroughly modernised, this hotel is the perfect place to start exploring the sights and sounds of Cairo. After freshening up, you will be collected for this evening's entertainment, a dinner cruise on board the Nile Marquise, a private yacht. You will set out onto the Nile River where you can get your first taste of this timeless city. You will be returned to the hotel later in the evening.
Day 2

Pyramids, Sphinx and Camel Ride

In the morning after you have had your breakfast you will be collected at the hotel for your tour of the Pyramids. This will be one of the highlights of your vacation, as now you can see these incredible structures close up, visiting the major sites including the Sphinx. Following your time at the Pyramids you will be taken a short distance into the desert for a camel ride. Lunch will be provided back at the hotel and the rest of the day is yours to do as you please. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the hotel facilities or take a trip into central Cairo and go exploring on your own.
Day 3

Cairo Tour

Today's touring takes you to see the wonders of Cairo city. After breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and shown to some of the major sites of the city in air conditioned luxury coaches. Today's excursion includes a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artefacts in the world. The tour also takes in a visit the Citadel, the Ibn Touloun Mosque and the tour comes to a close at the Naguib Mahfouz restaurant, named after one of Egypt's Nobel Prize winning writer. On the conclusion of the tour in the afternoon, you will once again be taken back to the hotel, where the rest of the day is yours to be at your leisure. The hotel has a wonderful pool and gymnasium area for those who want to be a little more active, or you may choose to sit in the large gardens and watch the Pyramids.
Day 4

Fly to Hurghada

After breakfast you will check out of the Hotel and be transferred to the airport for your short flight to Hurghada, a resort town on the Red Sea. On arrival, you will be collected by our representative and transferred to your hotel for the next four nights. You will be staying at again at a beautiful 5* resort. Away from the main town, this resort rests in a secluded haven out of the central Hurghada. Your suite, complete with a large bathroom and views to the gardens will be a dream come true, with the hotel providing the best of modern Egyptian architecture. Have dinner at one of the hotel's restaurants.
Day 5

Red Sea at Leisure

There are no planned activities on day five of your tour, but this should not stop you from making the most of your amazing locale. Hurghada has some of the best scuba diving available in the world and it caters for beginners to more advanced divers. Scuba diving lessons and snorkelling excursions can be arranged through the hotel. For those who don't fancy the dive, rides in mini submarines and glass bottomed boats can be taken to the nearby coral reefs. Another wonderful experience is going for a camel ride along the white sands of the Red Sea. For those who feel like relaxing, sitting by the hotel pool or on the beach soaking up the sun is always a valid option.
Day 6

Free Day: Desert or Reef

This another free day where you can do as you please. For those who like a little more adventure, consider taking an excursion out into the desert to go quad biking - a great adrenaline rush for anybody looking for adventure. The snorkelling, diving, swimming and relaxing options are there for you as well. Enjoy your leisure time in this most remarkable of places.
Day 7

Luxor Day Trip

Today's excursion will take you back to the Nile. Rising early, you will be collected from the hotel for you day trip to Luxor. Travelling in air conditioned coaches you will be taken out to Luxor on the River Nile. Luxor, once known as Thebes, is possibly the world's greatest open air museum. You will visit the major sites, including the famous Valley of the Kings and Queens which is home to the tomb of King Tutankhamen. You will also visit the Luxor Temple before lunching at the Winter Palace. Late in the afternoon you will be returned to Hurghada to your hotel..
Day 8

Desert Sunset and Departure

This is the last day of your package and we have saved the best until last. The morning has been left free for your leisure. In preparation for you leaving you will pack in readiness for your evening flights before being taken out to the desert for the evening. This sunset desert safari leaves a lasting impression. It will be followed by dinner with the Bedouins. After this tour you will be taken to the airport to take your flight home.
