Gay Vacation Tour Package in Greece: Athens & Mykonos Travel| (2025) Edition

On your arrival at Athens airport you will be greeted by our English speaking driver who will transfer you in modern, air conditioned comfort to your hotel in central Athens. You will be spending the next two nights at this hotel, so this is your chance to freshen up and settle into the vibe of the city. The rest of the afternoon and evening is free for you to discover Athens. We suggest that you make the short trip to the Plaka region at the base of the Acropolis with its busy streets, interesting shops and many restaurants. Have the first meal of your holiday in one of the Plaka's many traditional Greek restaurants and maybe explore a traditional tavern or two.

Your second day in Athens starts with breakfast in your hotel, after which our driver will collect you for your half day tour of Athens. Starting at around 9 a.m., the English speaking guide will take you to some of Athens most fascinating and interesting sights in a modern, air conditioned coach. Wonder at the magnificence of the Acropolis, the most famous ancient site in the world. The tour also visits the Houses of Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Temple of Zeus. Witness the grand structure of the Olympic Stadium built for the first Modern Olympic Games. You will be returned to your hotel around lunchtime After lunch, you will be driven down the Athenian coast to Cape Sounion to the Temple of Poseidon to watch the magnificent sunset over the Aegean. You will be returned to your hotel in the early evening, after which you can find you evening meal in any one of the many international gourmet restaurants that Athens has to offer.

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel, and our transfer driver will take to the airport for your flight, or to the port for you sailing to Mykonos. In arrival at Mykonos you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. You will have four nights at this wonderful establishment and we are sure you fall in love with the atmosphere and friendliness of the hotel. As soon as you reach Mykonos you will feel the vibe that is the heart and soul of this magical and cosmopolitan island. The rest of the day is yours to do with as you wish, whether that be sitting by the pool relaxing or wandering the labyrinthine streets. Have a drink and maybe a dance at any one of the incredible clubs the island has to offer. This is a place where the young, beautiful, famous and infamous come to party. Enjoy!

Day Four gives you with a view into Ancient Greece which you will never forget. Make sure you're up early for this memorable trip. After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to the old port of Mykonos for you half day tour of Delos. This island is the centre of the Cyclades Islands and birthplace of the gods Apollo and Artemis. It has also been uninhabited for over a thousand years, Delos is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. Our English speaking guide will explain to you the sights of this magnificent place, only a short boat ride away from Mykonos. Be a part of time standing still on this little piece of uninhabited beauty. You will return to Mykonos late afternoon where you are free to spend the afternoon as you choose, wandering back to your hotel after a spot of supper in one of the many cafes, or maybe a trip to the boutiques that line the narrow streets. The shopping in Mykonos is as good as London, Paris and New York, with many a designer having boutiques in the winding streets. While you're in Mykonos, make sure you indulge in the incredible nightlife the town has to offer. Pierro's and the Manto Bar, in the streets behind the port are great places to start. Of if you're after something a bit more sedate, the piano bars, such as the Montparnasse in Little Venice might be more your scene. There is something for everybody after dark - you just have to go and find it.

On the morning of day five we will deliver your rental car to you. Please let us know if you prefer a manual or automatic transmission. With your car you have the freedom to explore the island away from the town. Please be careful when driving on the roads of Mykonos - they can be rather treacherous in places. One of the first places on your list o places to go should be Paradise and Super Paradise beaches. Here the party starts early and lasts until the very early hours. The people watching here is phenomenal as well, with sights of the young, the beautiful and the downright amazing flocking to these incredible beaches. Use the car to your advantage. There is a lot to see outside of the town.

Once again, use the hire car to your advantage, making the most of the car to see more out of the way beaches. In particular, Ornos Beach to the north of the town is a quieter beach than Paradise and Super Paradise, with its course sand and calm waters. The jewel of all MykonosBeaches is Elia, on the other side of the island. This beach is gay friendly. Like most of the beaches on Mykonos, nudity is widely accepted and Elia can feel like your own private beach, with its fine sand and clear waters. It's a great place to relax and watch the world go by, free from the crowds and music of other, more notorious places, if that is what you desire. On the way home, visit the monastery in the island's centre. Early in the evening, the rental car company will collect the car from your hotel. Make the most of this evening, your last in this little piece of sybaritic paradise - eat, drink, dance and enjoy the freedoms that Mykonos provides.
