The tour includes a visit to: The Acropolis, the New Acropolis Museum, the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament and the Changing of The guards, the Temple of Zeus, and finally The Olympic stadium (the original stadium built in the 1863 for the first modern Olympic games in 1896). The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.

Arriving in Delphi, you can visit the Ancient Sanctuary of Apollo. You can see the Delphi Museum among other archaeological treasures, the unique bronze charioteer, then proceed through the sacred way to the Athenian treasury and the Temple of Apollo. Delphi is one of the national treasures of Greece. You will return back to Athens late in the afternoon.

Upon arrival to the second largest city the driver will pick you up and transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can walk around the Plateia Aristotelous (Aristotelous Square), which stretches from the waterfront avenue of Nikis to the Panayia Halkeion Church. The upper town of Thessaloniki is also rather appealing with historical attractions such as cobblestone alleys, traditional houses and a rather beautiful Byzantine citadel. The day is free for you to explore the beautiful city. You may visit the White tower the symbol of Thessaloniki. Constructed in the 16th century by the Ottomans, it was used as a fortress, a prison and a University workshop. Today it hosts a museum. You may also visit the Palace of Galerius (Roman Market and Theatre) at Navarino Square and the church of Agia Sofia (8th century) which is a copy of the original Aghia Sophia in Constantinople.

Day 6

Check out after breakfast and be transferred back to the airport for your flight home, taking memories of your magical Greek trip.

Awesome experience.

We had 5 in our family of all ages for our recent trip to Greece. We wanted to see Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. I reached out to Anastasia with our budget and a rough idea of what we wanted to do. I cannot say enough about how helpful she was. She helped arrange the whole trip and everything flowed perfectly. She was also available during the trip to help guide us if we had questions about travel. It was a truly memorable experience without all the stress of when I try to plan trips myself. I wish I could use her for every trip I ever take.
